The Illumination Foundation (IF) is a non-profit, non-denominational, grassroots organization with a mission to bridge the gap in existing services for the underserved to break or prevent the cycle of homelessness. Beginning as a class project initiated by students enrolled in UC Irvine’s Healthcare Executive MBA Program in 2007, the organization has emerged as one of the fastest growing non-profits addressing the crisis of homelessness in Orange County. Since IF’s founding, the organization has experienced unparalleled growth and development. Today, IF administers six innovative programs, all of which fill a critical gap in the continuum of care for the homeless.

Lazy Dog Orange is a proud sponsor of Mater Dei Baseball. The 2011 baseball season should be exciting one as Coach Call's Mater Dei Monarchs defend their 2010 CIF Championship title. The baseball team will continue to play one of the best schedules around. The Monarchs, in the preseason, will play in the Newport Elks Tournament hosted by Foothill High School. Also, the team will be competing in the National Classic. Both tournaments will feature some of the best teams in California and across the nation which will be a great challenge for the Monarchs.This will be a great experience for the team. The preseason tournaments will prepare the team for a tough Trinity League. Once again, the Trinity League is loaded with talented teams. The Monarchs are working hard and look to capture the Trinity League title this year.
